What is NBS?
- Private & social – a group of friends who love badminton, not a club or business.
- Run by volunteers – organised for fun in our own time.
- At cost – everyone shares the court and shuttle cost for the time they play. Nobody makes money.

Flexible play ⏱️
Flexible play: come for as long as suits you, from 1 hour up to the full session, in half-hour steps. That’s up to 3 hours on Mondays and Fridays, and up to 2 hours on Wednesdays.
- The cost is shared and worked out after each session. You only pay for the time you play – roughly $17–$19 for 2 hours, as a guide.
Friday groups
On Fridays we play doubles in two level groups on separate courts, the same night. Registrations are posted in each group’s Messenger chat.

Tournaments 🏆
Every so often we run a fun social tournament on a normal night – Americano, Mexicano or round robin doubles, with a live leaderboard on your phone.
Tournaments are for NBS regulars: play at least 4 sessions (any days, any weeks) in the 60 days before the tournament date. Bring a friend along and they can qualify too!
